Yan Diomande, Real Madrid's summer signing, scored the fourth goal in a 4-1 win over RB Leipzig, the very club he joined from.
Contract until 2033
On 6 August 2026 Real Madrid officially announced an agreement with Leipzig to sign the Ivory Coast international on a seven-season deal running until 30 June 2033. The club did not disclose the fee, while European media described it as one of the most expensive transfers in the club's history.
In Germany he was named the Bundesliga's best rookie in the 2025/26 season.

After the game Diomande said he was happy with his goal, but that the team's victory mattered more and that Madrid do not want to stop.
