By beating Leipzig at the Santiago Bernabéu, Real Madrid became the first club in history to score in 45 consecutive home matches in European competition.
The run began against Ajax on 5 March 2019. Since then Madrid have played seven editions of the Champions League and have always scored at home, including both home games this season.
Beating their own record
José Mourinho's side surpassed the previous record of 44 matches, also held by Real Madrid, between 2011 and 2018.
